NHS Eye Tests

Patients entitled to free sight tests on the NHS can receive their eye examination with us. To find out whether you may be entitled to this service, please get in touch.

Private Eye Tests

Non-NHS patients may also receive eye examinations at our practice at affordable prices. To book an appointment, please contact us.

Children's Eye Tests

If you are concerned about your child's vision, they can be tested by our opticians from a young age. We offer a child-friendly atmosphere and age-appropriate tests.

Accessibility

We can carry out NHS eye examinations for patients who struggle to leave the house due to mobility, medical, or other various needs. Contact us to discuss your needs and arrangements for a home visit if required.

Our premises are wheelchair accessible and transport can be arranged, leaving you right to our door. Let us know about your needs when you book your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Glaucoma Screening

Glaucoma is a long-term eye condition which requires regular hospital visits. Our optometrists have had the specialised training to be part of Northern Ireland’s Local Enhanced Service (LES). This means that patients who we suspect to have glaucoma or ocular hypertension will have their results refined and double checked at a further visit with us, before considering referral into the hospital eye service.

Retinal Photography

Digital retinal photography allows your optometrist to see an overview of the retina and to detect eye disease early on. It gives the opportunity for you to view and discuss the images of your eye with your optometrist. The results are instant and will be kept for future reference, so your optometrist can look for changes over time. There is no charge for this service as part of your sight test.

Adult Frames

We offer a wide range of budget and designer frames for both men and women. Our opticians and optical assistants will spend time with you, helping you in choosing your frame, and advising you on lenses to best suit your needs.

Children's Frames

We strive to stock frames that are robust and fit your child’s dimensions and prescription properly so they are getting the most out of their glasses.
